Ways to Wellness

I will be providing information for wellness along with some great articles and links for optimal wellbeing! Together we can focus on a NEW START every day of our lives.

Nutrition – Choose healthy fruits and vegetables, grains and a good protein—keep within your limit!

Exercise – Choose to keep your mind and body healthy by moving, walking, stretching, swimming, biking, dancing…just do something daily!

Water – Choose to drink a minimum of 6-8 glasses of fresh clear water daily…


Sunshine – Choose to get your Vitamin D naturally by just spending 10-15 minutes enjoying nature daily.

Temperance -Choose to eliminate, say no! and practice moderation in all things for your best life.

Air – Choose to breathe deeply…inhale slowly through your nose to filter for a fresh supply of O2 and exhale to remove the CO2…be conscious and aware of your breathing through out the day.

Rest – Choose to take care of yourself with a good night’s rest but also balance your life by making time throughout the day to meditate, pray and pace your activities.

Trust in your Creator and Lord to be with you always…to fill you with His Spirit of grace, peace, love, joy and strength.

    5 Steps to Being More Thankful
    1. Write down 5 things you are thankful for every day. This will increase your awareness of blessings in your everyday life and will reinforce your gratitude.
    2. Focus your attention on what you have in life instead of what you don’t have and be careful that you don’t compare yourself to others.
    3. Reframe your thinking when you face a difficulty, strive to see the bigger picture and turn the stress into an opportunity. Let go of the little stuff!
    4. Seek positive people to spend time with…who you chose to be with will influence the type of person you want to be.
    5. Use visual reminders to help keep your focus positive post its, screen savers or memorize good quotes or verses. “Thank God in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
    “Remember gratitude is a choice and will come easier the more often you choose it. “
